SQL Server Administrator for Qatar
VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Technology Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India.
VAMSYSTEMS is currently looking for SQL Server Administrator for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
- Strong experience of SQL Database Administration and excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL who can work very efficiently and independently.
- Excellent documentation & communication skills.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve real-time DB systems issues
- Will work with DBA team members and developers to insure optimal performance for the SharePoint and other databases.
- Proactively schedule and monitor DB maintenance activities.
- Responsible for Backup & Recovery and Disaster Recovery
- Responsible for ‘Operational Change Control’ Management and scheduling that is required to support the production database systems.
- Perform SQL database migration to 64bit hardware and to SQL Server 2008
- Creates security policies for individual users and implements them with SQL Server
- Experience in working with SQL Server Clusters is required
Experience Required: 6 to 8 years
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in Qatar.
