Account Manager- South Asian Services
The Account Manager will provide outstanding client services to an assigned base of accounts in a fast-growing start-up media agency. This person will act as a liaison between the clients, media, and Anhad to ensure the success of the client’s marketing campaign which includes coordinating all strategic communications, planning, execution of media plans, and managing service requests and issues. The position involves planning, media buying, traffic, scheduling, invoicing, internal and client meetings, relationship building across constituencies, and project management. This individual will make strategic recommendations related to campaign management across such media as print, radio, broadcast, and online. The ideal candidate for this position will be committed to delivering the highest level of professional dedication, performance and competence and willing to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate with the client, creative agency and the media (print, television, radio, online, ground and outdoor) across time zones
· Participate in the development of client campaign strategy and execution plans, utilizing the full range of agency services
· Execute client media campaign plan, including managing ad insertions, ad placements, and respective invoicing
· Maintain relevant agency and account data
· Monitor client press coverage and prepare clipping reports
· Participate in multi-party team meetings, including agenda setting, and follow-up
· Assist in planning for and execution of special projects and events
· Office management responsibilities, as required
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications
· BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant discipline, required. MBA in marketing preferred
· 1-3 years Advertising/ PR agency experience required
· Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work with multiple clients simultaneously
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Quick learner with an inquisitive mind and eye for detail
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
· Proficiency in File Maker Pro
· Proficiency with Photoshop, In-Design, Quark, Illustrator and web publishing a huge plus
· Proficiency in any of the following South Asian languages: Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bangla, Urdu
